The Opportunity
LexVeritas is proud to be partnering with a well-regarded mid-tier law firm as we search for a Senior Associate with at least 4 years post admission experience to join their reputable Commercial Litigation and Insolvency practice. You will have the opportunity to work with high-profile clients on a range of exciting and challenging matters. You will be an important part of this growing practice and will be trusted to take full carriage of matters with support from the wider team comprising of experienced partners, solicitors and support staff.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial litigation and insolvency matters from start to finish, including conducting research, attending court, and negotiating settlements.
  • Providing technical legal advice to clients on various litigation and insolvency matters, including bankruptcy, liquidation, receivership, and insolvency litigation.
  • Overseeing all legal documents including pleadings and submissions, motions, affidavits, and settlement agreements prepared by your team.
  • Working collaboratively with clients, partners, and other team members to develop and implement effective strategies to resolve matters.
  • Assisting in the development and training of junior team members.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional client service.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years post admission experience in a commercial litigation and insolvency practice.
  • Passion and drive to hone your skillset in the commercial litigation and insolvency practice area.
  • A desire to grow your practice and dive into networking opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
